About
Pavo Films is a Paris-based production company co-founded in 2026 by Cosmin Illes and Némésis Srour, with a focus on bringing independent and auteur Indian cinema to wider international audiences.
Cosmin Illes
Producer and marketing strategist specialising in cinema and streaming. He spent over six years at Spideo, working with major international OTT platforms. He then served as Head of Marketing at LaCinetek, the French streaming platform created and curated by filmmakers.
Némésis Srour
The author of Bollywood Film Traffic (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024), a history of Hindi cinema's circulation across the Arab world. She has over a decade of experience curating and distributing Indian and South Asian cinema in France.
